Virtual Philly Rabbit Run 5k/1m walk
Lace up your sneakers and shake your bunny tail anywhere because we are going virtual in 2021!
Run, walk or hop anytime April 1 to April 30 during Parkinson’s Awareness Month
A New Kind of Wild Adventure
Hey Silly Rabbits, we’d all rather get together at the Philadelphia Zoo for our annual run/walk for Parkinson’s disease. But, due to the ongoing pandemic, we are doing the next best thing. The Philly Rabbit Run is going virtual.
Join thousands of runners and walkers…virtually! Now you can support those with Parkinson’s disease anywhere, at anytime, and with anyone. The 3.1 mile run can be done inside on a treadmill, outside on a track or in your neighborhood. Track your timed results online with your phone, or any tracker of your choice. Of course, you may walk or run at any pace you are comfortable.
How does a virtual run work? Easy-peasy every-bunny. All you do is register for the Philly Rabbit Run online, and complete the race option during Parkinson’s Awareness Month in April, 1st to the 30th. Then enter your times online. Don’t forget to take pictures of yourself, post them on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/phillyrabbitrun5k and Instagram at Shake It Off 4 PD (@shakeitoff4pd Use the hashtag #PhillyRabbitRun
